For over the past two years, I have been living in the Bahamas. One only dreams about taking a Caribbean vacation, and yet here I am, living on the beach and enjoying the tropics all year long. Being here does have its ups and downs, such as the COVID lockdown which kept everyone restricted to their homes, hurricanes, and island prices when it comes to everyday groceries; however, sitting at home and watching the sun set over the ocean every night helps me to forget those minor annoyances.

Today we traveled from Las Vegas to Tokyo via Air Canada on a Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner with a transfer in Vancouver. Sometimes going through a connecting city is cheaper than flying non-stop. Continue reading “Japan (Part 1)”
Our travels have taken us to Singapore where we stayed atop the Marina Bay Sands Resort. A quick trip to Chinatown ended up being an all day adventure with so much to see and experience there from the temples to the cuisine. Continue reading “Singapore”
